Shelly is a Yoga Alliance certified instructor with numerous certifications in power vinyasa, hot hatha, yoga sculpt and circuit training. Her teaching style is casual, mindful and fun, yet challenging. She emphasizes conscious movement and dynamic stretching to complement other fitness activities. When she is not teaching, she dedicates time to share her love of yoga with others as a facilitator of various teacher training programs.
Kate Mensah is the embodiment of strength, beauty and style. A French native transplanted here since 2001, Kate juggles demanding roles of a mom, fashion designer, and business partner of a local fashion ecommerce company. But she always makes time to work out: gymnastics, horseback riding, boxing, kickboxing.
Kate practiced French boxing for about 3 years in Paris. When she started kickboxing in Seattle 2 years ago it reignited her love for the workout and quickly led to an instructor certification at the beginning of 2015. She is passionate about fitness, and loves to share how she uses kickboxing to relieve stress and keep your mind and body in tip top shape.
Sheila Kim is the founder of JabX Kickboxing Fitness. An ISSA certified personal trainer, Sheila has been a certified instructor for multiple kickboxing and bootcamp programs since 2012. Her passion for fitness and love for kickboxing led her to create JabX in 2015, an intense, stress-blasting, fun workout that helped countless people get into shape. She changes her program daily to provide maximum cross training benefits and is always developing new ways to keep things fresh and challenging.
Sheila was the first runner-up of 2014’s King 5’s Best of Western Washington “Best Fitness Instructor” category, and the first Washington State Fitness Movemeant Ambassador for The Movemeant Foundation.
